Experienced Bartender required for the bar within a prestigious hotel, located in the picturesque and historic town of Rye, East Sussex.

About the role:

This Bartender role offers the opportunity to work within a busy hotel bar, within a wider Food & Beverage team. The pub area, serves Sussex ales, draught cider, and continental beers. There’s also a wide selection of wines by the glass and a healthy representation from local English vineyards. Cocktails and nibbles are also served.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Previous hotel, bar or hospitality experience, including cocktail service
  • Have a genuine passion for food and drink
  • Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • Sense of urgency
  • Can do attitude

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a friendly and professional bar service to hotel guests
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, beverages and drinks
  • Assist with food service within the bar area when required
  • Support the wider Food & Beverage team during busy periods
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and service
  • Deliver an efficient and welcoming guest experience

Location:

  • This small town has good transport links including bus and train services
