About the role

AV Technician required by our market leading, professional services client based in Central Edinburgh. The successful Senior AV Technician will join a leading professional services organisation in Edinburgh on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is fully on-site, 5 days per week.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and innovative professional services environment, where significant investment is being made in AV infrastructure. You will be the go-to AV expert, supporting high-quality meeting spaces and ensuring that every event, webinar and hybrid conference runs smoothly.

The Role:

As AV Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a first-class audio-visual experience across the business. Your duties will include:

  • Acting as the primary on-site AV support, preparing rooms, testing systems and assisting users.
  • Delivering seamless AV support for internal meetings, client events and hybrid video conferences.
  • Operating and troubleshooting AV equipment including displays, microphones, speakers, control panels and VC systems (MS Teams, Zoom, Webex).
  • Working closely with Front of House and Facilities teams to ensure rooms are set up to client specifications.
  • Supporting live and recorded events, including streaming and media management.
  • Collaborating with IT teams on multi-site events and system rollouts.
  • Helping develop AV best practice and staying up to date with emerging technologies.
  • Ensuring meeting spaces are fully operational and business-ready each day.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in an AV Technician or similar role, ideally within a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AV hardware and software, including platforms such as Crestron, Extron and digital signage.
  • A calm and proactive approach, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
