We are currently recruiting reliable and friendly School Bus Drivers to join our growing transport team in Liverpool. This is the perfect opportunity for experienced PSV, PCV, minibus, or bus drivers looking for part-time work with excellent work-life balance.
Working Hours / Rate of Pay
- Morning Shift: 7:00am – 9:00am
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 5:00pm
- Monday to Friday
- School term time positions available
- £13.80 per hour rising to £15 per hour in April 2027
These split-shift school transport jobs are ideal for drivers seeking flexible hours, semi-retired drivers, parents returning to work, or anyone wanting extra income around the middle of the day.
School Bus Driver Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school
- Follow planned school bus routes across Liverpool
- Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks
Requirements
- Valid UK PCV/PSV driving licence (Category D or D1)
- Valid CPC qualification
- Enhanced DBS check preferred (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong punctuality and reliability
- Previous bus driving or passenger transport experience beneficial
