Job Title: Catering Assistant

Location: Royal Berkshire Hospital, London Road, Reading RG1 5AN
Shift Pattern: Mon-Fri 8am-4pm or 10am-6pm
Pay: £ 12.51 an hour + Escalated rates over the weekend

Job Duties
As a Catering Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in our hospital community. Your responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the catering team to prepare and serve appealing meals.
- Cleaning food trolleys, crockery, and cutlery to maintain hygiene standards.
- General cleaning duties to ensure a spotless and safe kitchen environment.
- Food handling and cash handling
What you’ll need:
We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals with:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Level 2 Food Safety certification.
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards.
- Strong communication skills in spoken and written English.
