About the Role:
Lock Global are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded café/restaurant in Glasgow’s vibrant West End. Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Chef with a strong background in Italian cuisine to join their growing kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook high-quality Italian dishes including pasta, pizza, and classic specials
- Maintain consistency and presentation standards across all dishes
- Support menu development with fresh ideas and seasonal ingredients
- Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
- Work effectively as part of a fast-paced kitchen team
- Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation
Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Chef in a busy kitchen
- Strong knowledge of Italian cuisine is essential
- Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
- Passion for fresh food and high-quality ingredients
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Relevant food hygiene certification preferred
