De-installations Assistant - Telecoms

Location: Chepstow (UK-wide travel required)

Salary: up to £29,000 + overtime + allowances

Job Type: Full-time | Permanent

We are working with a well-established organisation in the telecoms sector who are looking to recruit a De-installations Assistant to join their field-based team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and travelling to different project sites.

The Role

Supporting telecoms projects across various customer sites, you will be involved in:

Assisting with the decommissioning and removal of telecoms equipment

Dismantling infrastructure and recovering cabling

Loading and unloading equipment safely

Supporting site logistics including deliveries and collections

Assisting with asset tracking, stock control, and equipment labelling

Preparing materials for reuse, storage, or recyclingThis is a field-based role involving regular travel, with overnight stays during the working week.

About You

Hands-on and practical approach to work

Reliable and able to work effectively within a team

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

Flexible and willing to travel and stay away when required

Basic IT skills for recording and tracking assets

Full UK driving licence (essential)
