Job Title: DV Cleared Senior Project Manager - IT
Location: Basingstoke
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Up to £600 per day via an approved umbrella Company
Must be willing and eligible to go through the DV Clearance process
Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for leading innovative IT initiatives? Our client, a reputable organisation, is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. What you'll be doing:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of complex IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, scope, and deliverables
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies proactively
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates and insights
- Drive continuous improvement in project processes and methodologies
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience managing large-scale IT projects from initiation to completion
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
- Solid understanding of project management tools and methodologies
Desired skills:
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and digital transformation initiatives
- Certification such as PMP, Prince2, or equivalent is advantageous
Qualifications:
- A recognised qualification in project management or related field
- Licences or certifications in project management are preferred
