Head of Joinery (Project Design & Sales)

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for bespoke joinery and luxury interiors?

If so, we invite you to join this team as their Head of Joinery!

Location: Molesey with on-site parking

Annual Salary: Basic up to £45,000, OTE £75,000 (uncapped commission) plus 20 days holiday, public holidays, Christmas closure, and your birthday off, pension, company events, EAP, luxury office environment and on-site parking

Pattern: Monday to Friday, 40 hour week, flexible working, hybrid option

Driving license required!

Join this growing organisation specialising in bespoke joinery and high-end furniture for residential clients across the globe. As the Head of Joinery, you will oversee the entire process, from design review and cost estimation, right through to production and installation. You will be the primary contact for their high-net-worth clients, architects, and designers, ensuring that every project reflects their high standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management: Lead all projects from inquiry to completion, ensuring efficient production and timely delivery.

Commercial & Estimating: Prepare accurate quotations, assess project requirements, and monitor profitability throughout the project lifecycle.

Client & Design Team Management: Build and maintain strong relationships, communicate project updates, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Leadership & Team Development: Motivate and develop the team, establishing clear performance standards and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience Essential:

10+ years in bespoke joinery, luxury interiors or equivalent

Strong technical understanding of bespoke furniture construction.

Proven project management experience from design to installation.

Excellent communication and client-facing abilities.

Full UK driving license.

Desirable:

Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software.

Familiarity with high-end residential projects and working alongside architects and designers.

Personal Attributes

Passionate about craftsmanship and quality.
