Position: Large Format Print Operator & Installer
Location: Buckinghamshire
Salary: £30k - £32k (Neg.) + Overtime
Shift: Days (Monday – Friday)
The Company:
Opportunity to join a well-established Large Format Print company known for high-quality output and long-term client relationships. Currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Large Format Print Operator & Installer to join a busy production team. Working in a hands-on environment where no two days are the same. The role is primarily focused on print production, with occasional installation work as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate large format printers (e.g. HP, Canon, Mimaki or similar) to produce signage, banners, posters, wall/window graphics, boards, and vinyls
- Manage RIP software and ensure efficient, accurate production to meet deadlines and specifications
- Carry out finishing tasks including mounting, laminating, trimming, guillotining, routing, and vinyl application
- Operate and maintain finishing equipment such as Kongsberg cutters, laminators, and mounting tables
- Assist with on-site installations (e.g. window vinyls, wall graphics, signage)
- Maintain colour consistency and overall print quality
- Follow internal processes and complete quality checks to ensure high standards
- Keep equipment and workspace clean, reporting and resolving any issues
Key Requirements:
- Experience in large format printing (2+ years preferred); installation experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of print materials, substrates, and finishing techniques
- Experience with large format print and finishing equipment
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality
- Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Proactive, organised, and willing to learn new skills
- A practical, problem-solving approach with a creative eye
- Full, clean UK driving licence
