Hours: Full Time, Monday to Thursday 8am -4pm , Fridays 8am - 1.30pm

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

The Role - Metal Joining Operative

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Metal Joining Operative to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be involved in precision metal joining processes, producing high-quality components and assemblies to exact customer specifications.

Metal Joining Operative Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Prepare and clean components prior to joining processes.
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet quality requirements.
  • Complete manufacturing documentation and job records accurately.
  • Work in accordance with company procedures and quality standards, including AS9100 requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Support continuous improvement activities within the department.

Skills & Experience

Desirable experience includes:

  • Previous experience in welding, brazing, soldering or precision assembly
  • Expe.rience working within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Full training will be provided for the right candidate, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a long-term career in precision engineering.
