About the role
Location: Bolton (4 days per week onsite)
Duration: 12 month initial contract
Rate: £40ph UMB (Inside IR35)
Role details:
We are looking for a Non-Conformance Quality Engineer to support our defence client on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing non-conformance processes, including administration and containment activities
Facilitating non-conformance meetings and escalating issues as necessary
Conducting operational surveillance and certification monitoring
Carrying out Gemba Walks to ensure quality standards are met
Performing as-built verification checks
Job Requirements:
Experience with non-conformances and relevant processes
Experience as a Quality Inspector or Quality Engineer
Working knowledge of SAP
Solid planning and organising skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Highly self-motivated with a strong determination to achieve set objectives
Educational qualifications are not essential, but an engineering apprenticeship background is advantageous
